Manipulation of technologies generates a picture of a natural or a synthetic intervention that leaves a residue. This imagery and material remains are open for an aesthetic and critical interpretation. When setting apart from their primary functions, man-made objects are reconfigured or rendered obsolete. By nature's intervention, we are directed to observe the permanence of manufactured materials, while flesh retains an unstable quality. From the playful action of a child smashing toy cars to the violence of an automobile collision that can end lives, we remain spectators of these incidents. Nature displays its dominance and runs its course through time. This exhibition presents 4 artistic proposals portraying this detachment while it creates a frame in time of the perpetual change of constantly evolving technology, and us, drivers or passengers who observe through the window.
